Mixed/up is about having mixed feelings. Collin made this work in cooperation with Rutger Termohlen.
This work was created by Collin in 2006. He used mixed media such as acrylics, spray, and ink. This painting is ready made to hang up on a wall.

Artist: Collin van der Sluijs
Collins work is a reaction to the everyday life, the information- society, positive and negative experiences in life translated in a narrative way. Collin is inspired by friends, family, city, silence, love, anger, misunderstanding, animals, old toys, human behaviour in public spaces, a cat and music. His work is a collaboration of colour, techniques and styles visualizing the contrasts in society.
Collin graduated at St. Lucas in Boxtel (NL) and the art-academy St. Joost in Breda. After running an open minded gallery ‘’Punct’’ for young upcoming artists in Tilburg he moved to Maastricht and started a gallery for contemporary art in the city-centre, ‘Galerie Groen Licht’. Currently he is working as a gallery-owner, illustrator and painter.
